    Description

The TAI-43 phones were put into operation in 1943. The designer is OI Repin. Came to replace the family of UNA. FF-33. It was created on the basis of experience in the combat conditions of captured German field phones FF-33. Outwardly, these devices are very similar, but the location and location of the nodes have little in common.
FF-33 was transported to the USSR, in connection with which in 1947 the wooden case was replaced with a bakelite (reminiscent of FF-33, with a similar latch lock). Well established over the course of the application.
Power is supplied from one element of the type "3В" or "3С" with a voltage of 1.5 V. Increasing the supply voltage to 9 volts improves the quality of the microphone path. The communication range for the PTF-7X2 field wire is up to 25 km and on a constant 3-mm overhead line - up to 250 km.  The device can be connected in a line both on a two-wire, and on a one-wire circuit.
