VINTAGE CHERRY MAHOGANY BAKELITE AMBER BEAD NECKLACE

DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for an extrordinary vintage cherry amber bakelite necklace. When I first listed this necklace, I was out of Simichrome and had to rely on 409 which came up negative. I retested recently with Simichrome and all the beads are postive for authentic vintage Bakelite except for the green bead which is unusual. The majority of the beads are very dark and opaque with a rich cherry mahogany color and the others are light amber color in different shades. All the beads are hand cut with ornate sterling silver spacer beads. The decorative clasp is sterling silver.
MEASUREMENTS:
Necklace measures 24" long. The largest bead in the center measures 30mm in diameter and 13mm wide for size reference. Total weight is 96 grams.
CONDITION:
Excellent overall condition with age appropriate wear such as fine surface scratches and small imperfections expected with a hand crafted necklace. Being sold as-is so please view the photos carefully and ask any questions before bidding.
