    Vintage Bakelite necklace. From an avid bead collector’s estate. I believe this composition is not original and most likely was reworked using vintage components. I am no Bakelite expert, but I did perform the hot water method of checking for authenticity and a formaldehyde scent was detected. Clasp is broken. Please review photos carefully.
