Vintage Telephone Connecting Block Refinished.
Some Western Electric, Suttle, and others Type 42A.
42A-9 is the Brown Version.
Ivory or Gray covers and a few with metal ones Painted Brown.
Color is Standard Electrical Brown.
Used for making telephone line or other low Voltage connections.
Traditional way of connecting a Telephone with a Hard Wired Mounting (Line) cord.
Used jacks have Scuffs Scratches Oxidation Discoloration and Wear.
Note these are old and fragile.  Do not over tighten the screws or the jack will break!
No returns on jacks broken through the screw holes from over tightening.
