    Description

    Northern Electric payphone circa 1960. Overall good condition, straight and solid. Dialer rotates as it should. Shows age wear and patina. Some scuffs and minor scratches, but no dents, cracks or corrosion. Untested but was operational appx 20 years ago when it was removed from an LA Recording studio! Sticker says New England Telephone & Telegraph.
    There is a break in the receiver holder metal but does not affect the integrity of the way it hangs up. Some surface rust on the top silver/aluminum piece. No key but these are available on ebay.  Measures 18 inches high, 6 ½ inches wide, 5 ½ inches deep. Weighs about 24 pounds. Great display piece. Most likely could be wired for everyday use - currently has a very long 3 wire. Excellent addition to your antique telephone collection.
