MY TREASURES
Who once said, one man's junk is another man's treasures?
This is my story.
In 1964 I bought a neighborhood friend's collection of Classic Illustrated comics for 5 cents each, and found out the kid on the other side of this very small town (Ericsburg MN), collected comics.  So I pedalled my bike to his house and he gave me 20 or 25 cents each!  I was hooked!
It was a light bulb moment, someone will toss something in the garbage and someone else will pay me to dig it out, clean it, and make it all purty again.
This is the motivation behind the items of this category, which is the "city dump" in my store.  These are actual "treasures" that I have found, reclaimed, dug up, or just simply fell into my lap, some walked in the front door of my business. Most of this stuff, I have no idea of its true value (nor do I care if you double your money).  I just need the money to pay for my next tank of gas, my next trip into some abandoned dirty, stinky, mice infested garage, attic, storage shed.
