    User Review:
"I am a hobbyist, not a pro - and I'm usually cobbling things together under less-than-ideal circumstances - an easy-to-use and somewhat forgiving epoxy is a critical part of my tinkering. . . Here is what I like about this stuff: The consistency is perfect for most of my tasks - liquid enough to get into cracks and crevices, but not too drippy, and not difficult to mix or spread. It will slowly creep down a vertical surface, but doesn't run. It cures very consistently (stiff but not hard in about 5 minutes) over a generous temp. range. Its fast enough so that you can hold two parts together by hand in front of a heater and get a decent bond. . . but not so fast that you can't re-position things within the first minute (like super glue!). Many other epoxies suddenly get drippy when its warm or clump up and refuse to mix or spread well in the cold . . . sometimes they will simply refuse to harden when its a little chilly - so I can't work at night or early morning - AARGH! I haven't noticed these drawbacks with this product - it seems to work well anywhere above 50F or so . . . It stiffens quickly, but remains impressionable for about 4 minutes after mixing. This is really helpful for shaping the bonding area or making an impression into the surface of the epoxy (don't expect to be able to do any major twisting or sharp bending, however). These few minutes of flexibility makes it possible to make a kind of simple pattern or casting (e.g. press screw threads into the surface) and tweak it somewhat without gumming up my gloves or having it crack. Full cure does seem to take a full 24 hours; if the weather is cool, it may be a bit soft even after a day. Warming it for an hour seems to finish it up quite well. Seems very strong and durable once fully cured. Keep in mind the strength rating is for SHEAR stress. Don't expect it to have the same kind of strength when twisting or bending it. I have used it for: anchoring bolts and shafts in wood surfaces, and gluing wood to plastic. It saws/sands/grinds very easily without chipping - almost as nice as bondo. A dollar store in my area often has this, which is a deal that I can't pass up. CAUTION: never try to skimp on the hardener - it has to be 1:1 resin:hardener to cure right."
