Beautiful Wood Telephone Booth.
I've owned this booth for approximately 40 years. It was originally in service in a hospital in Bastrop, Louisiana in the early 50s. A friend of mine got it for when it was phased out at the hospital Beautiful finish w original glass panes. Heavy rascal therefore it will have to be picked up locally. I’ll include the 3 slot pay phone as well. I guess, because where it was being used it isn’t finished on one side.
I've added a shot of the "Share special moments by long distance." sign that is part of the booth on the inside wall.  Thought you might like to see it.
I also want to mention about the "unfinished" side.  It is the original side that came with the booth, not a replacement.  Same wood as you can tell from comparing the grooves shown on the finished side with the unfinished side.  Why it was not varnished/shellacked/clear coated I have no idea.  Only conjecture but I'm guessing it was installed against a wall on that side.
