Description
Early1900's and rare American Electric non dial candlestick telephone made for the Keystone Telephone Co of Philadelphia. Keystone telephone company was an independent phone company used within the city and surrounding area of Philadelphia until 1945. Original parts that have been professionally re nickeled. Early American Beauty transmitter and outside terminal receiver. Small hairline crack on case as pictured which does not go all the way through the housing. Also small dings in the brass on the top base as pictured. Early drop style switch hook. American Electric subset/ringer with partial Keystone emblem. Reproduction cloth cords added and wired to working condition. This is not for everyday use as you will sound low/tinny due to old parts but cool that everything still works including ringing when called. Therefore there is no guarantee as to the working condition. As you can see in the photos I used a modular jack within the subset/ringer so you can unplug and keep separate from the phone. Also modular line cord so plug and play. Bottom base cover was repainted. These are not often seen or at all as Keystone is a rare independent company. Email with questions or more photos. Check out my telephone feedback as everyone is always happy. This will look stunning in that special room or office or would make a great gift. Winning bid pays all shipping and insurance charges Thanks!!
